When you join the founding waitlist, we collect your email address along with the date and time of consent, the version of the consent notice, signup source and subscription status.

When you contact us, we collect the name, email address, inquiry category and message you submit. Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.

Waitlist information is used to administer subscriptions and send requested updates about event development, venue and date announcements, athlete news and entry applications.

Contact information is used to review and respond to inquiries. We do not sell or rent personal information.

You may withdraw consent to event emails at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism included in future messages or by contacting us through the website. Suppression records may be retained so that we can respect and document your request.

We use service providers to host the website, store submitted information, provide security and support future email delivery. These providers process information only to provide services to The Last Mile and may operate in Canada or other jurisdictions.

Active waitlist records are retained while you remain subscribed and for no longer than 12 months after the August 11, 2028 event unless a longer period is required by law. Contact inquiries are normally deleted or anonymized within 24 months after the last substantive interaction. Minimal suppression records may be retained so that we continue to respect an unsubscribe request.

We use restricted administrative access, encrypted network connections, submission controls and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information held. No website or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
